PDXBluescast – Show #25

Sorry to have missed a week there…sometimes life gets in the way, y’know? It really does bug me to miss getting a show out; it’s become a highlight of my week. Thanks for your patience, and do enjoy this 25th show — with the Rose City Kings, Walker T. Ryan, Duffy Bishop and more in the mix, I think you will!

Don’t forget the Curtis Salgado Benefit Concert this coming Tuesday, June 13th at the Rose Garden Theater of the Clouds. Not only will Curtis and his band play, but you’ll also hear Steve Miller, Robert Cray, Everclear, Taj Mahal and the Phantom Blues Band, Little Charlie & The Nightcats, plus surprise guests too! Click here for more info and tickets. All proceeds go to help pay Curtis’ medical expenses.

It’s always fun to hear from you, whatever might be on your mind. Well, it was worth the wait! Although hearing Phil Haxton at the Willamette Delta Showcase was kind of a tear jerker, I think that was the last performance of his I saw.
I was at the show the Rose City Kings recorded live, that was fun!
Walker T. Ryan is quickly becoming one of my favorites.
As good as the Duffy Bishop cut was, somehow her recordings just never quite capture her excitement. See her live!

Great podcast–especially enjoyed the Duffy Bishop song.
