PDXBluescast – Show #15 – Lloyd Jones!
Hey, it’s the Lloyd Jones Spotlight Show! That’s right — for this show we have a special guest, Portland’s own Lloyd Jones, right here in the PDXBluescast studios! He talks with us, spins some of his favorite recorded tunes, and he even plays some choice nuggets for us LIVE. Only one thing: we had so much fun doing the show that it ran a little long. So…sorry for the big download, but we hope you enjoy the show.
Hey, get in touch with us, okay? You can post a comment right here on the blog, send e-mail to the address shown at right, or leave me a voice message at 206-203-3PDX (3739)! If you’re a Portland-area musician and would like your material featured on the show, send me e-mail for instructions on how to get it done.

Wow … I could just leave it at that and it would say it all. Pat, you seriously need to do more of these live thangs! What a treasure trove of stories, history and music Lloyd Jones is, and to have him in such an intimate atmosphere, playing and singing and telling stories, well, I don’t care how long it takes to download (I’m on DSL anyway … Ha) it is well worth it.
Great, great show Pat, and Lloyd, if you are reading this … you were supposed to draw MY name out of the hat. Pat probably put buggers on the paper with my name so you would avoid it! Heh.

I thought this show on Lloyd Jones was your best one yet. If you can dial it in, I would love to see more of these one on one interviews.

Terry and Ted, thanks to both of you for your positive feedback on this show. I agree that it came out well…it was definitely a lot of fun to do! The good news is that I’m talking to other local artists who are interested in coming into the studio and doing spotlight shows. So as soon as I work out some logistical stuff, you should see more of these shows in our future. Thanks for your support!
