PDXBluescast – Show #8

Hi again! Sorry the show’s going up a little late this evening, but I was out at the Tillicum getting a nice healthy dose of the Lloyd Jones Struggle. So sue me! The place was groovin’.

This show contains an apology to those who have sent me e-mail or other communications and haven’t heard back from me. I will respond to you! Really! So don’t let that stop you from getting in touch, okay? Post a comment right here on the blog, send e-mail to the address shown at right, or leave me a message at 206-203-3PDX (3739)! If you’re a Portland-area musician and would like your material featured on the show, send me e-mail for instructions on how to get it done.

Well, I finally got #8 to work (thanks Pat) and boy was it worth it!! Just for the KG Jackson song alone! I agree with Pat on this, Ken (KG) needs to get back into the studio, what a talent!!
Notice the mentions of David Lipkind (sp) backing Dylan and Joe on harp? He is one of the best I’ve ever heard, he can play anything. It’s like he coaxes stuff out of the harmonica.

[...] on the drums keep things cooking. For a taste of K.G. Jackson’s soulful vocals, check out Show #8 and Show [...]
